Urinary Incontinence

Urinary incontinence is frequently under diagnosed and inadequately treated. Wuesthoff Rehabilitation Services has a specific program designed to treat overactive bladder, urinary frequency and urinary incontinence. These conditions often result from pregnancy, menopause, aging, stroke, and pelvic surgeries, which cause a weakness in the pelvic floor muscles.

Physical therapy treatment incorporates pelvic floor strengthening, bladder retraining, biofeedback, dietary modifications, and a comprehensive home exercise program.
